Event Horizon..... time machine?

Yes and No. Yes because according to the theory of relativity If you could get within a few inches of an Event Horizon before making an escape, you could essentially time travel years or millenia into the future as measured by outside clocks. According to your clock, however, perhaps only a few hour or days actually elapsed. This is because of the immense gravitational effects and the fact that Light waves cannot escape the denseness of the event horizon. It causes time to fold in on itself basically.. So someone observing from earth would see something going into the black hole much more slowly than it is actually traveling at the point of the event horizon.

and when i say "No" I mean Not as of right now. I think maybe thousands of years in the future we will have this figured out to the point of accomplishing it. but right Now we don't have anything remotely strong or fast enough to reach a black hole and send it through without being "Spaghettified"

You may have read that as you approach the event horizon of a black hole, time will stop for you.

Indeed, for any observers, it will appear that you go slower and slower and never quite reach it (ignoring the problems that you would be crushed to death by the gravity!)

However, if your watch were still to work, you would look down and perceive time to be passing as normal.

It is due to the immense gravity that the light you emit takes longer and longer to reach the external observer.

event horizen is place after that no any astronomical event will happen because after it all concept of physics will stoped. time machine is imaginary concept u can make any such device.but you can go in fature by couniously fly over earths surface by speed of light. /7qmtz/
