Any ideas on what the project could be about. Specifically, if I am doing the project on Da Vinci machines, what would be a good question to ask in order to perform experiments? Any help would be great.. Thanks.

My dad has a Blu-ray player that is Netflix enabled. He can watch it in his home office only, because that is the only location of said Blu-ray player. I want to set it up for him where he can stream Netflix from two different TVs in separate rooms but also have a menu choice similar to that of the PS3 and Nintendo Wii Netflix App. The only way it works now on his tv is by his instant queue menu. I would like to find a device that can run Netflix with an actual menu, i.e.(new releases, action/adventure, horror, etc.) instead of him having to queue movies from the computer to his Netflix account all the time. The main reason for this is convenience, because he is a quadriplegic and it is difficult for him to have to do all of this himself.

I have looked at the Roku but I am not sure if it offers a menu similar to that of the PS3 or Wii, or if it is just a Netflix 'instant queue' display device only. Does anyone have a device they use or know of one that is capable of doing this without him having to buy a PS3 or Wii? Thanks.

Can anyone direct me to a site that offers custom shaped keychains. I am looking to get around 3,000 keychains made and aside from just a logo being printed on a generic design, I am looking for a place that offers keychains that you can have the shape cut to your own design. For example: Lets say I wanted a travel trailer keychain, so instead of just having the graphic of a travel trailer printed on the keychain, it would be cut in the shape of a travel trailer. Anyone know of a place that does that?

I am doing a project in my Corporate Finance class that consists of reviewing a certain article in The Wall Street Journal consecutively for a week. The section I am writing on is, Corporate Watch. This section contains anywhere from 4 to 5 separate but relative articles by different authors. My question is, how do I cite each article review on Corporate Watch? ie I have to do a total of 5 reviews (1 review of the Corporate Watch section each day) Before each article review, let's call it "Article Review 1"; I have to cite each review as one citation so I want to know how I cite it with multiple authors and multiple articles in one citation vs having 4 or 5 seperate article citations for each review. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks

Ok I am studying for a final and on the practice exam I have this question:

A certain street vendor averages customers arriving at the rate of 8 per hour. What is the probability that at most one customer will arrive in the next 15 minutes.

I know that the answer is .4060 and I probably have to do a poisson distribution but don't know how to exactly work the numbers in, I would like someone to please show me the equation for this and how to do it. Any help is greatly appreciated.

For #1: The probability is 1.0 because everybody who removed snow used either a snow blower or shovel.

For #2: The probability is .63 b/c 950 used shovel out of 1500 950/1500= 63%

For #3: The probability is 0 b/c one or the other had to have been used to remove the snow

PROBLEM:

I just upgraded my router from an older Netgear N600 to a Linksys E2500 Dualband. I currently have my high speed internet and my Playstation 3 running off of the Linksys. When I use my laptop, the internet works perfect every time; there is no lag, disconnection issues or any service interruptions. However, When I am on my PS3 and streaming Netflix, everything will work fine for a while, then all of a sudden I will get disconnected from my PSN (Playstation Network). I will then lose internet connection on my laptop as well. This was one of the main reasons I upgraded to a better router thinking it may solve the problem, but no luck. I had used this same setup for 2 years now and never had problems with this happening until about a month ago. I know it is not my ISP because the internet alone on my laptop never gets disrupted.. It seems that only streaming Netflix causes things to fluctuate negatively.

THINGS I'VE TRIED:

-I have tried disconnecting and reconnecting the Modem and Router completely and restarting them. (This fixes the issue temporarily until I stream on Netlfix again.).

- I also tried assigning a Static IP to my Playstation. I set it at 192.168.1.101 since my Default is 192.168.1.1 in order to give it a secluded IP with no chance of interruption from other connected devices. This didn't change the problem.

- I tried setting up a DMZ (Demilitarized Zone) in the Linksys Port Forwarding Menu... Still no luck.

SUGGESTIONS:

Anyone have any other ideas or had this issue and found a fix? I would appreciate any feedback I can get. Thanks!

I work for an RV dealership and we are going to be having a BBQ event a month from now. The event is a collaboration between us and an animal awareness organizations/pet shelters etc. I need some ideas on a catchy name for this event. Something to do with pets and camping. I just recently got married. My wife's mother and step father aren't very well liked by anyone.. Especially my family. They are very pretentious and act like the world should be subservient to them.My mother always hosts holidays and she has always had them over on every single one and they are just rude. They do not lift a finger to help, they never bring anything, they never say thank you and it always seems like her mom says something rude but acts oblivious to it. At our rehearsal dinner, my parents put together the whole thing together and my wife's parents invited a guest from out of town and didn't even introduce the guest to my parents. At our wedding they completely avoided my parents and everyone else. Yet whenever there is a holiday they just assume that they are invited over to my parents and repeat the same routine. They have never once reciprocated for all the times they have been hosted. Here is one example of their "rudeness".

-My grandmother just passed away a couple of months ago and at her wake, my wife's mom was getting ready to leave and walked up to my mother and said, "Well.. now that this is over with we can finally concentrate on the wedding." (in which they contributed absolutely nothing to except for my wife's wedding dress)

So.. I could go on for pages about what they do but I need to get to my question. My family really likes my wife's real father. So much in fact that they invited him for Thanksgiving this year in hopes that My wife's mother and step father would not come. My parents did not invite the mother and step father but I know that they are just going to assume they are invited and show up anyway. My problem is that for some odd *** reason, my wife doesn't see how everyone can't stand her parents. So now I am faced with a problem. I have to in some way shape or form tell my wife how her parents are not invited for Thanksgiving or Xmas or for anymore holidays for that matter because her parents are rude and my family is tired of putting up with their insulting presence and pretentious attitude. I have to just bring this up somehow without creating conflict or awkwardness between my wife and I. What should I do? What would you do? Any ideas on how you think I can handle this mess? Thanks.

I am looking to buy some gun parts for cheap. Doesn't have to be new. I am looking specifically for a revolving bullet chamber out of like an old 6 shooter. The reason I am looking for these is just for a hobby of mine (concept gun building). Not going to be a firing weapon just a form of art. Anyone know of any online place that I can buy salvaged gun parts or broken guns or replacement parts? Specifically the chamber but other parts will be needed. I already tried Amazon, eBay and Craigslist. I am looking for an online retailer that just sells this crap for people with a hobby like mine.. Any help is appreciated Thanks!

My wedding is coming up here pretty quick and I am trying to figure out what to get my groomsmen. I am leaning towards a personalized knife or multi-tool b/c flasks and beer mugs are a bit overrated. Is it ok to get them each a different gift or should they all be the same? Any ideas? :)

I was doing some work the other day and was running a corded drill from my garage outlet. I have done this before with no issues. All of sudden I had no power. I knew it had to be a tripped breaker so I checked the electrical box and sure as hell it was a tripped 15 amp breaker. I unplugged the drill and refrigerator that were both plugged into the outlet, reset the breaker and went and reset the gfi outlet. There was no power at the gfi.. So I went to flip the breaker again and it made a pop sound and tripped off again. I tried the same steps a couple of times and got nowhere with it. I pulled out my tester and tested the breakers from the top down all showing power. When I got to the troubled breaker the electricity practically exploded in my face and it fried my tester needles and the wire screw on the breaker. After a few cuss words and my heart started beating again, I went to Menards, got a new breaker and replaced it. Tried previous steps of turning on and still no power to gfi. Hmmm. Thought the gfi may be bad.. Went and bought new one (for 15amp) and that didn't fix the problem. So I have no power in my master bathroom, garage outlet, exterior outlet, or dishwasher.. (I didn't wire the house. (Yes, I know it is a jank idea to wire random things to a breaker which have no correlation.) So.. Now I am stuck. I even replaced the outlet in the garage and still no luck. Tried everything I can think of and I have never had an issue like this with electrical. Am I forgetting something simple here.. If so, Could someone please throw an idea at me. I have tripped this breaker in the past but reset it with no issue. (All the wires going to breakers are attached and installed properly. All wires in outlets installed properly.)

I am popping the question in a couple of months to my girlfriend of 2 years. I have been doing a lot of ring shopping and have narrowed it down to 3 choices. First off, her preference in a ring is a single solitaire, princess cut diamond, on a 14k white gold band. Simple enough. So this question is going to be directed at the ladies more than anything, and I would appreciate your input to help aid me in this decision. The issue I am having is deciding on a color vs size ratio without killing my budget. The difference in color between the three diamonds is only 1 grade. The colors are between an I & J and the sizes are between a 1.31 and 1.50 ct. I think that (in her case) the whiter the diamond the better, which I agree with. But since there is not a huge difference between the colors I & J in the first place, I would like to know which one you would prefer? Would you want the bigger diamond with a higher color grade. or the smaller diamond with a lower color grade and less yellow in it. My issue right now is that i am torn between getting the diamond with a little less yellow and sacrificing size. Or, going with the larger diamond since there isn't much of a noticeable distinction between the I & J. I am listing the three diamonds below to give you a better idea on which you would prefer. I know this answer really depends on her preference, but any input you can give me will definitely help me make my decision. Thanks.

Ok. I am hoping you guys can give me some ideas here. I have been reading some horror novels lately and I am on a "creep me out" binge. I am looking for a novel that is very disturbing or scary. I have already read Dean Koontz's Intensity and Midnight. I have also read Stephen King's IT and Insomnia.These were some great books, especially Intensity by Koontz, but nothing has scared me yet. I want to here some suggestions from people who read thriller and horror novels, and give me some insight on what books have gotten to you, and could possibly give me a fun read in the sense of freaking me out.. Any Ideas?
