It looks like a nice unit, but I have a few concerns that bother me, however, my concerns may soley only matter to me and not you.
1) It is an older unit having no HDMI connectivity, but does have 3 component(video) inputs and 1 component output, along with optical(audio) inputs. Not a major crime.
2)It doesn't decode the latest Dolby Labs and DTS codecs. Looking at the back panel, it has analog inputs for what looks like 7.1 audio. Pair it with a Blu Ray player that has 7.1 analog outputs, then the player can do the latest codec decoding for Blu Ray movies, itself.
3) This isn't a concern, but, more an FYI report. Being a proc/preamp, you'll need an outboard amp(s) to power the speakers.
Do some googling for reviews.
