Does the injury of Tim Duncan costly for the Spurs?

As we all know, the Spurs are really limiting TD's minutes in order to be healthy entering the post season. Now that the unthinkable happen (albeit on the right possible time, that the playoffs is just a month away), would this injury cost a lot for the Spurs?

This question is getting so annoying. Its like people want the spurs to be worried. The magic number is 63 no matter what anyone does if the spurs go 6-7 last 13 games thell clinch no 1 seed throughout playoffs. Duncan needed the rest he doesnt even score alot of points they dont count on him like they did in the past theyll be okay.

uh heck yes. I'm not sure that the spurs can play with the Lakers, Thunder, and Mavs for a 7 game playoff series even with Tim Duncan. Without him Kendrick Perkins, and Andrew Bynum will walk all over the Spurs. Also taking his size out of the post will open it up to scorers like Dirk, Durant, Kobe, and Russel Westbrook.

Considering the way they play without him, and he gets less than 30 minutes a game no.

    No, not really.

He'll be good by the playoffs.
