What if it turns out that all of this Charlie Sheen stuff was just a huge BS publicity stunt?

Today Les Munvez, the CEO of Fox made a public appeal for Charlie Sheen to make peace with the director of "2 and a Half Men" and continue making the series. Charlie's done some weird stuff in the past, but all of this recently, the crazy pictures, the nonsensical rants, the soap opera type headlnes, has been pretty extreme even for him. What if it turns out that all of this was orchestrated just to drum up publicity? After all, it was front page material in every major paper and on every major news network for a couple of weeks. Talk about free exposure! Assuming it is all BS, is it the greatest publicity stunt ever? Or simply a rank explotation and betrayal of the fan base?

I have totally thought this. Maybe he is trying to prove what a good actor he is by acting like a crazy person. I still think he is a very self absorbed and a little nuts, but maybe he is playing it up.

I have a funny joke to start my answer to your question :)

How much cocain did Charlie Sheen smoke?

Enough to kill two and a half men!

    Bahaha :)

    Sorry. Just had to share.

I think if it was a publicity stunt, they would have come out sooner, wouldn't they?

But, it also keeps the public guessing, and not everything you read is true.

I think it would have been the greatest publicity stunt ever in my own opinion.

He has burned his brain out with drugs, and prostitutes.

He could probably talk to a person like Charlie Mason.

And they would really get along fine.

He even looks a bit like him.

.I would bet money it was a publicity stunt. When you think of it that way, it makes him and his producers look screwed up.Why the need for more attention.Wasn't he getting enough? Talk about attention seeking whore! He's got even the women beat, in that category.

Idk what the big deal is. He didnt seem to be acting that weird from the pieces of interview i saw. In fact, most people i know talk and act like that around their friends, but they just wouldnt do it in front of a national audience like Charlie Sheen did. He just seemed like a perfectly chill and content person to me. He knows he is living the good life and he just doesnt care what people think of him because he has everything he could ever want.

Surely no one was silly enough to believe all this hype - he is supposed to have three women on the go now.

Still it worked as some people did believe it.
