How to keep a corn snake if the house has no air conditioning?
I live in a place where the summers range from 85F to 100F and we have no air conditioning. I am considering getting a corn snake but want to have all my research done before i get one. So, like I said, the summers get hot here and I don't know how to keep the temperature gradient of 72F to 85F that I want because the ambient air temperature of our home is already usually in the 80s! Please help me if you can. thanks!

Wow, you are lucky. I live in the frozen north, and we just had a nasty blizzard, temps here can get as low as 30-40 below. I'm jealous.
Anways, I think the cornsnake would be ok if you took certain precautions... when you are getting really hot weather in the summer, try to put the cage in a cool spot (if you have a basement, that would be a good place). You can lightly spray the cage with water to cool it down. Make sure it has a good sized water dish if it wants to climb into the water.
You could also invest in a window AC, they aren't that expensive if you have a window you could give up for one. It would make you more comfortable in the summer, too!
