What's the weather like in Chicago in July and August?
I'm going on a two week vacation at the end of July and starting of August, What kind of weather will Chicago have during this time? XD
Clothing wise to people just wear jeans all year round ? o-o or does it get warm enough to wear shorts?

If we have normal temperatures during your visit the high temps of the day will be in the mid eighties and the lows at night in the mid sixties. But we might also have high temps in the 90's or even over 100 with warmer temps at night as well. The daytime highs could be in the 70's and the nighttime lows could be in the 50's if it is cooler than normal. You might bring one of those compact travel umbrellas if you want, sometimes it will be raining. It is usually a little cooler along the lakefront.

What a great time to visit!
Chicago is full of fun in the summer, like festivals, open air seating in restaurants and more! It will be hot and a bit humid but that will make a great visit to the beach. Bring shorts, t-shirts, tank tops and a rain jacket, or umbrella. :)

It is very hot, You can get away with jeans and a tank top with flip flops, but shorts or dresses are better. Chicago is the best in the summer. You will have so much fun. Don't forget to catch the fireworks off Navy Pier on Sat and Wed. nights around 8:00

HOT and HUMID like most places in the mid-west. 80's and 90's. Bring shorts, t-shirts/tanks, sunblock, sunglasses, etc.
Don't forget to hit the beach! :o)

I will not add anything that people already have said, but bring an umbrella for the rain storms.
