Sharing Confidential Files With Clients Through Wordpress?

I have a wordpress blog and I'd like to add the function of having a client login so I can share private files/images/comments with individual clients (ideally the client would also be able to add there own comments).

Is there a Wordpress module or third party type service that I could tack-on to my blog that would achieve this?

Thanks!

You can do it easily through the dashboard with no plugins:

    1. Create a new post

    2. Create your document and/or upload the files and link to them in the page

    2. On the right: Visibility: Public edit. Click edit and change to either private or password protected.

Private means its not visible and not indexed but someone can type the exact URL in and find it. Password protected is just that, password protected (recommended).

I wanted to learn WordPress and when I was searching for videos I found a good post on a forum that has some great tutorial videos that show you everything you need to learn how to blog with WordPress and use all the plugins. They were very helpful.

    Hi Chris,

What you are describing is a great idea. I did a quick search, but unfortunately could not find a plug-in that satisfies all of your requirements.

The closest plug-in I found was Wordpress Download Monitor

Try a Google search for "Wordpress document management" or something similar.

I believe this could be done. Wordpress has all the elements, it would just take some programming.

    Good luck.

I basically have a cellular mozz... what's the point of having 2 phones until eventually you stay in a community without reception. (down the line from both one human beings on Pleasantdale there is not any verizon prompt service in any respect....complete lifeless zone). i imagine you watch too many FBI shows and that lately cells are tremendously secure. There are nonetheless crossed wires lately with landlines... I bear in mind awhile back at the same time as i became a young person I had a crossed wire with a neighbor on a diverse street and that i ought to her convo with her buddy (both events) and she ought to listen me and my buddy. i'd be more suitable frightened about crossed wires on landlines, or dropping my telephone service with the aid of means outages, than utilising my cellular.
