    It took Fergie 13 seasons to win the European cup 86-99

    It took Benitez 3 seasons - autumn, winter and spring

    ..and got to the final again 2 years later to show it wasn't a fluke

    Also got liverpool's highest ever points finish

    all with a net spend over his tenure of just 7m per season

    He has unfinished business at Anfield and with proper backing like these current owners seem willing to give - he could work wonders again.

    Think he's positioning himself for the City job though however

    Poor Marsh....... this wouldve been a better dig at Arsenal : Lol Dylan... Arsenal actually won the biggest prize on Pancake day... as a result of them always being BATTERED.
