I'm from New England so I think even San Fran will have nice weather... but then again, San Diego looks beautiful--it reminds me of the Bahamas...and I just loved walking around at night in the warm breeze...
But I like nightlife and the cool type of person you'd find in San Fran... San Diego looks a bit quiet and spread out. I also won't have a car.
Help me please.

I would sincerely recommend UCSD in San Diego. I have friends that attend that University and they have an excellent curriculum and offer many programs. San Diego has excellent public transportation so you would be able to get around without difficulty. Plus, SDSU is conveniently located to numerous places that are within walking distance. The weather in San Diego is beautiful and the beaches are superb.

Are you trying to go to college or are you moving to a specific city?
I'm confused by what you're asking.
UC Berkeley is one of the most elite universities on the face of this earth. If I got into both, I would have gone to UC-Berkeley in a heartbeat.
Both cities (SF and SD) are out-of-this-world expensive. I *really* hope you have a high-paying job if you are looking to move there.
