What is the name of this congenital dysmorphology?
A 34-year-old woman gave birth to her second daughter who was born at 40 weeks of gestation. The father, who was present for the birth, just about fainted when the baby girl came out the vagina with a large protruding about 4 cm high and 6 cm in circumference bulging from her anterior abdominal wall where the umbilical cord was attached.
A clear membrane covered what seemed to be a portion of the small intestine.
The baby girl was otherwise normal.
