London, England; Paris, France; Geneva, Switzerland; Amsterdam, Holland; Copenhagen, Denmark; Barcelona, Spain; Germany
The trains are quite efficient in Europe, but try to pick out a couple places you really want to visit or you will be spending all of your time getting from one place to another.

If you take skipper1 advice, it is guaranteed that you will spin at the end of the visit and you will not remember a thing about Europe. It is not easy to take maximum countries and best places.

I suggest that you don't even go to Europe. You can visit 5 countries in one day if you want to, however, at the end you have been to many places and really haven't seen anything. It is just a waste of time unless it is some kind of contest. Lol

Day 1: Fly to London, England. Take a double decker bus around the city. Sleep one night in England.
Day 2: If you want to stay a couple hours in England it is fine. Take a train across the English Channel to get to Paris, France. There is a lot to see in Paris, but you should also rest to get used to the time change. Sleep one night in Paris.
Day 3: Wake up and finish touring Paris. At night go take a train to Spain.
Day 4: When you wake up you should be at your destination in Spain(go to Barcelona if you are taking a train. Madrid is too far by train from Paris.) Take the day to explore the city in Spain that you want to. Sleep a night in that city.
Day 5: Take a plane to Rome or to Venice, Italy. There is a lot to do in both of those cities. Sleep a night in that city.
Day 6: Take a plane to Athens, Greece. You can see all of the Greek Mythology museums, and see the Acropolis. Sleep in Athens.
Day 7: Fly to Berlin, Germany. There are a lot of museums to see in Berlin. There is a lot of walking involved in Berlin, so bring comfortable walking shoes. Take a train to either Austria or Switzerland.
Day 8: If you go to Austria you should go to Vienna and explore. Same if you go to Switzerland, visit Zurich and sleep a night in either of those cities.
Day 9: Fly to my favorite European city, Copenhagen, Denmark. When you go to Copenhagen go see the Little Mermaid Statue, Nyhavn, and the Hans Christian Andersen house. Sleep a night in Copenhagen.
Day 10: Take a train to Sweden, there are about 2 short stops in Denmark before you reach Sweden. The ride to get to the Oresund Bridge is about 20 minutes. It takes about 2 hours to get to Stockholm. Look around Stockholm, and sleep a night there.
Day 11: Get a train to either Oslo, Norway or Helsinki, Finland. I would suggest Oslo because there is really nothing to do in Helsinki. Whatever you do, explore and spend a night there.
Day 12: If you went to Norway fly to Amsterdam, the Netherlands. Explore Amsterdam and spend a night there. If you went to Helsinki, fly to Talinn, Estonia and explore and sleep a night there.
Day 13: If you are in Amsterdam, visit Brussels, Belgium, and eat some chocolate before you take the train to Luxembourg. If you are in Talinn, take a train through Latvia and sleep in Vilinius, Lithuania.
Day 14: If you are in either Luxembourg or in Vilinius go fly to Edinburgh, Scotland, Dublin, Ireland, or to Reykjavik, Iceland.
Day 15: Leave Europe.
This itinerary is if you do not care about sightseeing. This is if you care about the amount of countries you have been to.
