Anything with National Society in it is fake as ****, and high school (target) scholars (bait).

Even if it's legit it doesn't make it not a scam, that's how good scams run, behind the law so you cannot get them.

I'm a member, and i must say, you will get out of it what you put into it!

They won't give you much help unless you dig in their web page as a member to find it, they give their members exclusive access to multiple scholarships that are created for members only, which can be an advantage, because it's a limited amount of people, but it can also be a downside, as these people were selected for being top-notch at some aspect.

They hold events for their members, and are affiliates of the national college fair board, however, these events are only held at cirtain locations. By looking at the history of event locations, by guess is, they really want to be "big wig" and national, but thy're still pretty samll scale.

Oh yeah, and they have special scholarships for members only to apply for. I'm currently applying for ones sponsored by Ambercrombie and Fitch, and GYLC, and I applied for an academic paper award as well, though with no luck (my topic was rather obtuse.) As far as college recognition, it doesn't hinder you. But, if your going to join and not spend some time looking at what they are all about, and then a college asks you about it with you clueless, you will look silly, but at your own fault. When you join, they offer a certificate and grad cord, along with other bumper stickers and such.

You're going to get out of it what your put into it
