question about updating apps from itunes from computer link up?
ok so my iphone 3g's wifi stopped working. and i cant update anything via wifi. so i downloaded an updated app on my computer and want to upgrade it on my phone without losing anything connected to that app. like info or stuff... when i try to move it from my i tunes menu to my phone and put apply it says "are u sure u wanna delete 16 apps including.... and lose all info" how can i update it w/o deleting or losing, just like if i was updating it from the app store off my iphone.

Easy,
Connect iPhone to pc
Sync iPhone to pc...
If the app is updated already on the pc it should install it onto ur iPhone
But,
If it doesnt install it somehow try "Transfer Purchases" (Rite-click your iPhone in left tab of iTunes menu) that'll transfer all your apps to ur pc w/o losing any data then sync ur iPhone again so that wateva apps have been updated get put back on ur iPhone... Hope this helps
