Jailbreak iPod touch 2g mc model firmware 4.2.1, I need help???!!?
I've jailbroken almost every idevice before, iPhone 3GS, 4 iPod touch 3G and 4g and the iPad....so when my friend asked me to jailbreak his iPod touch I said no problem, but this thing seems like it was built to defend itself against jailbreaks ive tried greenpois0n, redsn0w, and limera1n but none of them work I'm rally baffled....once again it's an iPod touch 2g mc model running 4.2.1 firmware, any help would be greatly appreciated

I have a iPod touch 2G MC model with 4.2.1 firmware and went to greenpois0n site, downloaded the newest version (RC6) and it worked perfect for me. However, the downside to it is: almost all of the winterboard themes/tweaks do not work on 4.2.1
Once the iPod was jailbroken, I ended up changing the server address on the iPod touch for when I restored which allowed me to verify restore with saurik's servers instead of apple, then I downgraded to firmware 4.0 and most of the winterboard themes worked. Also, downgrading to 4.0 is much easier to jailbreak as you can simply go to jailbreakme.com to jailbreak with a wifi connection.
