Can Tom Thibodeau become the next Phi Jackson?

They both took over a struggling Chicago franchise and turned them around. They were able to get the most out of their players but most importantly, they turned the Bulls into a defensive powerhouse. Only difference is, Tom doesn't have the rings yet but his future outlook does seem promising. Thoughts?

Phil inherited a team that previously made the ECF, with probably the most prolific scorer in the game at the time, budding youngsters in Scottie Pippen and Horace Grant, 89-90 Bulls were a recipe for success. Thibs on the other hand have a 41-41 team competing like champions. I think the ECF is the most like destination with a chance to upset. Phil preached shared offense to Thibs dominating defense.

But overall I think Thibs will be better than Phil coaching-wise.

    Hope this helps.

Tom does have a ring. With the Celtics... he was the defensive coach for the 2008 Celtics lol.....

But the way that he coaches the game, he's really smart. He might be... how about they get to the Finals first then we'll see. He has been next to Doc Rivers, he has indirect experience.
