you could try: types of guitars, guitar strings, parts of the guitar, famous guitar players(classical, rock, blues, pop, etc), a time line showing the use of the guitar, how the guitar came to be(like what it evolved from), how long the guitar was used as a musical instrument...personally i just choose things that would fascinate a person who doesn't know about the topic i'm doing a presentation on.

Tell something about the development of electric guitars. Also some really old versions of guitars would be cool, or all the different kinds.

The guitar was first called the lyre in medieval times. I believe Greece was the place of origin, if I remember correctly.
You should also include musicians who played the lyre, lute and contemporary players like Yngwie Malmsteen in your presentation

i only know about the interference of transverse waves and stationary frequencies set up on the strings which gives rise to sound energy..... i know that much alright ! .. but don't tempt me...
