What flowers would last 12 hours without water?

Of course they need water, but situation prevents it. Other than carnations and gypsophila, what else will be "presentable" by the 12th hour.

Not much. Even carnations would be drooping. You can buy individual tubes with rubber stoppers at a florists for keeping flowers that can't be in a vase of water. The flower goes in the tube with water and the rubber stopper goes around the flower stem and in the top of the tube. It keeps the flower fresh and you from getting wet and makes the flowers transportable.

No flower has to be without water. Just wrap the bottoms with wet paper towels and Reynolds wrap.
