Nobody should be allowed to cover their faces at protests, regardless of their gender or religious affiliation.

There have been myriad crimes reported these past few years committed by women wearing face veils, and even MEN dressed in hajibi drag with their faces covered.

The rights of the police officers to protect themselves from violence, and their mandate to curb violence in the streets, supersedes the religious right to hide ones face in public.

This is just another example of the mohammedans using our rights and freedsms AGAINST us in their on-going jihad of violence.

Have you ever read about that silly bint in the American State of Florida who insisted she be allowed to wear her face veil while sitting for her Driver's License Photo...?

That's right, she wanted to be photographed in a face veil...

They have scanners that see through clothes. Nobody is safe behind a mask any longer, not even Muslims wearing burkas. You need to be either very brave or very foolish to be anywhere near a camera today.

One problem is that with the Police kitted out like Starwars Imperial Storm Troopers or Darth Vader, then protesters are going to want to do the same.

I agree with @Pray's answer. I would add that no one should be allowed to slam innocent people in the back, causing their death, and get away with it by telling lies either. Whether those lies come from the perpetrator or his lords and masters doesn't matter. As far as I know killing someone in this country is supposed to be illegal. Or is it a different story when it comes to the government setting rules for controlling people who disagree with their lies and suppression?

I am not condoning it but peaceful marches never seem to achieve anything, it is only when it becomes a damaging riot that the government take action, The students proved that as did the Poll Tax rioters.

I don't think the Burka is considered a face mask. But if protesters are barred from wearing face masks then they should wear a Burka

it should include any face covering so the burka wearers will have to remove it. and the police will have to stop hiding behind their helmet visors.

I rather like Facile's answer - questioning whether a burka is a face mask! - priceless

Nobody at protests should be allowed to cover their face - NOBODY.
