Andriod or iPod Touch... Which one is better?

Okay so I was wondering which one should I get, A andriod 2.2 (3G, virgin mobile, LG Optimus V), or a iPod touch 8GB (newest one out). I know about the prices and stuff but I just don't know which one i should get. A list of both the pros and cons would help a lot and the longer the list the better!

Thanks for your help!

Update:

Which one is better as in apps, and texting wise. I text a lot and don't really need the calling part of the phone

The advantage of the Android is you can actually call people and on the i-touch you can't. I would go for the cheapest one if money matters too you, if you dont care about money, the phone probs be better as it has more uses. However I love apple. I have an i-phone 4 and I love it too pieces, can't live without t. Android's are just like iphones just not made by apple. So, if you already have a phone you can use to text and call and your happy with it, the i-touch may be better.

    Hope I helped:)

nicely in the adventure that your making use of it as a "pocketable information superhighway gadget", the iPod touch in basic terms has the internet browser in WiFi factors. i do no longer likely know what the archos 5 android is although sorry :(. yet there are assorted unfastened apps on the iPod touch that are very useful and dont require internet connection for, and much extra advantageous paid apps.
