f(a+h)=2/(a+h-1)
f(a)=2/(a-1)
f(a+h)-f(a) = 2/(a+h-1) - 2/(a-1) = [2(a-1)-2(a+h-1)]/(a-1)(a+h-1)
f(a+h)-f(a) = (2a-2-2a-2h+2) /(a-1)(a+h-1)
f(a+h)-f(a) = -2h /(a-1)(a+h-1)
[f(a+h)-f(a)] / h = -2 / (a-1)(a+h-1)
lim h-->0 [f(a+h)-f(a)] / h = lim h-->0 -2/(a-1)(a+h-1)
= -2/(a-1)^2
a=2; the limit is -2/(2-1)^2 = -2
