Homicide is a manner of death, others are suicide, and accidental death.
Murder is a crime.
Infanticide is the homicide of an infant.
Patricide is homicide of your own father. Matricide is homicide of your own mother. Parricide is homicide of either parent.
Robbery is the taking of property by force.
Theft is taking property by stealth or deception, without force.
Larceny is taking property when the method is not specified.

Well murder and homicide are pretty much the same but homicide is a higher extent. Not sure about the second group of words. Theft is a somewhat less serious than robbery because people primarily commit robberies in large places like banks. Thefts are robberies in homes of people.
