The Haunted Spanish House

One day, there was a family who took a vacation in the province, The members of that family are the two parents; and the children Pablo and Rita. They want to stay in the beach for two weeks. They were fascinated to see a beautiful ancient Spanish house near the beach. It was built in the 16th century. When an old woman saw them she said “That house is full of restless souls who were killed in that house, never dare to enter that place” The family just ignored her and thought she was making this up. “This is a beautiful house” the mom said. “It looks normal to me, nothing unusual” the dad said. While Rita washed her hands in the restroom, she saw a bloody head emerging from the toilet asking her to leave. She screamed and ran out. “Maybe you were only imagining things after watching horror movies last night” the dad concluded after she told them what happened. “What if the old lady was telling the truth?” Rita asked. “Don’t listen to her” Pablo said. Later on, the family went to a park except for the mother who wanted to rest. She lay on the couch when she heard someone falling on the stairs. She decided to investigate and saw a man whose head was bleeding lying at the bottom of the stairs. She hurriedly ran outside and joined her family to the park. After going to the park, Pablo went to the second floor to take a nap. As he opened the door he saw a corpse of a Spanish woman on the bed. The woman had an axe on her head and she was decomposing. He called the police to investigate on this but when they went back, the corpse disappeared into thin air.”I swear, I really saw a dead body here” Pablo insisted. “Don’t tell lies to the authorities, this could lead to a lot of trouble” the police scolded him and left. Later on, while the father was dozing to sleep in the living room, he saw a ghost of a bloody woman who was screaming for help. The frightened father prayed until the image was gone. He decided to leave and sleep outside in the park. The next day, Rita went down to eat when she saw a soldier limping with a bullet on his heart. Rita was scared so she ran outside and decided to buy food and avoided staying in the area where the soldier was seen. An hour later, the mother woke up and looked in the mirror. She saw a bloody woman behind her and blood appeared on the broken edge of the mirror. The mother was shocked so she covered the mirror with a long piece of cloth. The next day, Pablo was in the kitchen when he felt he was being watched. He looked around and saw a woman in a black dress with a veil who was slowly approaching him. What made it creepier was that she was floating in midair. Pablo gathered his food and ran upstairs to finish his meal. Later on, the father was in front of the house when he heard a baby cry. He just shrugged it off when he heard a whisper behind him. It was a whisper telling him to leave. He turned around and saw nobody and that’s when he decided to follow the voice and he went to the beach to forget the eerie experience. The family had enough of the apparitions that constantly frightens them and decided to ask the people about the history of the Spanish house. The same old woman in this story earlier scolded them for not believing her. She said that a Spanish couple came to the Philippines in the 16th century. Soon, the wife gave birth to their first child. They built a house as their permanent residence. Many Filipinos worked as slaves in their house, and many were killed and tortured. One day, the Spanish soldier was in a bad mood so for no apparent reason he shot a young boy dead. A witness saw it and he told the boy’s father about what happened to his son. The parents and the sister of the boy wanted to retaliate. One night the three sneaked in to the Spanish house. The man went to the soldier’s wife’s bedroom and he mercilessly hit her using an axe. She made a bloodcurdling scream that awoken his husband. The soldier went to his wife’s bedroom and he saw his wife dead with blood flowing from her body. He was so furious at the man that he pushed him down the stairs. The man’s head was cracked open. The man’s wife was angry so she grabbed the soldier’s baby and threw him out the window. The soldier grabbed the woman and banged her head against the mirror. The soldier was planning to murder the sister who was sobbing. The sister panicked so she grabbed his gun and shot him down. The soldier was shot in the heart and he died. The sister was the only person who survived after both families murdered each other. After hearing this, the family packed up and rented a nearby hotel at the beach.
