Charging up the 3DS when first purchased?
Why do you have to charge up your 3DS when you first purchase it? When I bought mine on the 25th March, I took it home and played with it, showed it off to my parents and had some fun with it. Is it really that important to charge it up before main gaming use?

Yes. When manufactured and packaged they only give the battery a small charge, same thing with cell phones.

There is only a small charge on the battery when you buy it and it is important to fully charge it before you turn it on so the computer that detects how much charge is left doesnt get screwed up and inaccurate.
