So every new rapper that comes out has to like Heavy D, Kool G Rap & Rakim? Why didn't Rakim and Kool G Rap ever cite Bo Diddley as inspiration then? He pretty much laid the groundwork for hip hop, but they never mention him. Does that mean they don't understand hip hop? And even if it did mean that, would it matter? If they make good music, who cares how many rappers they know or like?

Nicki Minaj,T.I,eminem,drake,lil wayne,(some rappers that passed) and basiclly that's all I can think of.

Kanye West, when people were saying 808's & Heartbreak sucked he stood by his album calling it ART... unlike eminem who said his relapse album was trash.
