Can you smoke pure weed (no tobacco) in your hotel room in amsterdam?

In coffee shops, tobacco is prohibited.

You may only smoke pure weed inside.

Elsewhere, like restaurants, hotel rooms, trams/trains/busses, there is NO SMOKING (anything).

Basically, while it might seem like Amsterdam is a place where anything goes... this is not the case.

We Dutch folks actually LIVE here - we're proud of our country - so please try to understand that it's not simply a Tourist City where everyone goes to get properly messed up for laughs.

Come have fun - try new things - but don't forget that our Home is not a playground.

yeah you could probably do it without it reeking too bad. i smoke in my room all the time while my parents are home and they never notice a thing. the only real problem would be the smoke detector though. you could always try removing the batteries from it, but that poses a problem when it comes to safety. but if you're cool with doing that (and you can reach it) then yeah go for it. i mean 9 people seems like a bit of a stretch but as long as you limit it to just a few grams it shouldn't be too much of a problem. in other words, i wouldn't recommend smoking a whole ounce or anything like that xD bring some febreeze or lysol to spray though... and put a wet towel under the door. that should take care of the smell. and opening a window is always a great way to "get the stink out". have fun and happy toking peace

Perhaps a few cheap hostels will allow you to but any decent hotel will not like it at all and may evict you.
