Poll: Do you like Charlie Sheen?

I don't

BQ: What do you think of my narrative paragraph?

He was alone hanging on desperately to the one object that still kept him afloat, a meager piece of wood, only big enough for him to lie on, his feet immersed in the water, disturbing the otherwise silken surface of the sea. Hungry, thirsty, and exhausted, he held on. It was calm at first. He’d hold on and wait and pray and hope that someone, somewhere, somehow would find him. The first day was peaceful. The ocean hardly stirred, its blue-green surface seldom interrupted by soft ripples that made his makeshift oasis sway. The next day, a first wave came slowly and tentatively, almost as if it were asking his permission to continue, trying to coax a reaction from him. He rocked violently, but his only response was to brush his tongue against his dry chapped lips. His eyes were closed in a desperate attempt to try and fall asleep. He did not notice the azureous skies transform into a dark collection of soot-colored fog. The deafening crash of thunder that followed forced his eyes open. All around him, bursts of light scarred the horizon, contorting and convulsing, resembling crisp white tree branches against the clouded sky. They were all accompanied by ear-splitting cracks that resonated in his head. The waves were getting bigger and bigger, making him lurch from side to side. It was raining. The massive waves undulated and twisted angrily, collapsing around him, causing a deluge of cold water to come crashing over him. He fell under the surface, and for a few seconds he was suspended, weightless, the laws of gravity having no influence. He swam, and when he broke the surface, he drew in a deep breath. Whistling past his ears was the wind. It was angry, shouting, yelling, and howling. The waves rose high and splashed onto the sea, leaving in their wake brumes of sea foam, and before he had a chance to locate his raft, a colossal wave crashed on him and engulfed him. He was once again pulled under the surface. He tried to swim toward the surface, but the force of the crash had completely disoriented him. He panicked and his body went into shock. His airways were blocked, and as he slowly slipped into unconsciousness, the waves continued their choleric battle, completely unaware.
