What is the best frosting for a coconut cake?

I bought a coconut cake mix and want to make cupcakes, what flavor frosting goes best with this? I went to three stores and could not find a plain coconut frosting. (I found one coconut pecan frosting but a few people are allergic to nuts.)

in case you will purchase a frosting, i could advise a normal white frosting. it is significant to not make the cake too prosperous and overwhelming, so butter cream frosting could be too plenty. in case you will make the frosting, i could use a normal white frosting as properly and upload your famous extract to it, ideally coconut. i'm hoping your mom has a dazzling birthday!
