I prefer the bassoon more because I think it has a more deep, rich, and commading sound than an oboe, and I think the sound sounds nicer and more beautiful on a bassoon because the higher notes sound very nice, but the low notes sound nice, rich, deep, and amazing as well. I think the bassoon sounds best in a band. Here's someone playing the bassoon to give you an idea of how wonderful the instrument of a bassoon is.
