Do my coworkers and I need to be worried?
My coworkers and I work for a VERY small company. On April Fool's day we played a joke on our boss...fake timesheet showing us arriving 1 1/2-2 hours late. At first she was confused...then her face turned RED like she had been sunburned, then she started laughing once she realized what we did.
A few hours after our joke she posted a job ad on Craigslist looking for people to fill the 3 different roles performed within the company. Starting pay listed is higher than our pay of min wage. I know it was her who posted it and not a different company b/c this is a small town and her company is the only one in town doing this type of work.
In your opinion...is our boss joking back? Or is she about to fire us b/c she didn't take the joke as well as we thought?

Yes. You should be VERY worried. Craigslist postings are not free so I doubt your boss is joking back. All of you need to prep your resume' NOW because you are going to be replaced in the near future with new personnel.
I'm the owner of a small company. Like all bosses I do NOT like to be made to feel stupid which is exactly what you morons did to your boss. You all made her feel stupid so now you'll have to suffer the consequences of your stupidity and immaturity.
If I were your boss in that same situation I would not hesitate to hire and train an entirely NEW staff, then fire all the current staff.

I doubt your boss is joking back since it costs businesses money to post a job ad on Craigslist. You all made your boss feel stupid which probably also made her angry enough to replace all of you with new staff after new personnel is hired and trained. So...should you be worried...yes, I think so.
