What is a good site to look up names by definition?

Question

I'm writing a book about my life and some of the people in it do not want their real names published in it. I don't want to just slap a random name on each person. The name has to mean something specific to either me or them. The people I am renaming are teachers, friends, family and rivals of mine. I need names with positive meanings for my loved ones and names with negative meanings for my enemies. I have about 100 people to rename. 

I can find plenty of sites where I can type in a name and get the definition. That isn't what I am looking for. I need a site were I can type in a definition and find a name or type in a name and get another name that's a synonym for it. Thank you for your help in advance!

This website is great. At the top, click search meanings and type in the meaning you want. You can also filter it by gender.

Babynames.com is THE BEST place in the world for that... if you go there and look up "Advanced Search" you can narrow down all of your choices.  Good luck!

To find the similar names, type in a name that you want to search and pull down the menu to search for related name, or go to the names page and click "related names" on the side panel.
The first is for first names and the second is for last names.

To find related names, scroll down to the bottom of the name page and there will be a web with the names that related to it and how they related to it.

http://www.20000-names.com allows you to search by meaning and categories.
