i cannot converse with others well as i cannot see my own type as well as i cant see what others type to me !!! i can type something but when i click on send it disappears...i know that they are getting my message but i cannot recieve thier replies

You are not on your own with this problem and it is a global problem with Yahoo Messenger and I don't think it is related to your PC. There have been a lot of questions about this. I contacted the Yahoo Messenger Customer Care Team and they are looking into this problem as a matter of urgency.
