Exact Value of Tan(300degrees)?

tan2((5pi)/2) = [2 tan((5pi)/2)] / [1 - tan^2 ((5pi)/2)]

= [2 * -sqrt(3)] / [1 - (-sqrt(3))^2

= [ -2sqrt(3) ] / [1 - 3]

= [ -2sqrt(3) ] / [ -2 ]

* -2 cancel each other

= sqrt(3)

shouldn't it be -sqrt(3)?

what did i do wrong?
