Whatever is most comfortable and provides the required support. I never found any support from boxers. In fact, they got screwed up and pinched my scrotum which was no fun. You have to make sure the pants do not keep the boy's testicles too close to his body as they can get too warm which reduces their ability to produce healthy sperm. In that way, boxers have some advantages but the main attraction of boxers is that pubescent boys are embarrassed by the shape of their genitals and boxers conceal this more.

oho.. on any given day i would prefer boxers.. they are so much comfortable n looks good too.. try the boxers having a SUPERMAN logo.... ha ha
