Challenging songs to learn on guitar?

I've been playing guitar for almost 2 and a half years. I can play the ascending/descending riff thingy from Scarified by Racer X, and that's the only shred song I've tried learning.

I have a 6 string electric and an acoustic I can't use most of the time.

My sweeps are average I guess (I can do 5 string arpeggios, but no hammer-ons/pull-offs or it gets a bit messy), so no sweep frenzy Yngwie Malmsteen songs.

Thanks to anyone that's going to give me a suggestion.

Thanks, I already know how to play Californaication. Master of Puppets would indeed be interesting... I'll try it

    metallica songs, megadeth, pantera (cowboys from hell), cliffs of dover, welcome home by coheed and cambria, i just learned Stockholm syndrome by muse yesterday and cant stop playing it now (its badass trust me), knives and pens, battle of jecht (final fantasy X), AVENGED SEVENFOLD. look up Fairy Fountain guitar cover, now thats a challenge! and it helps you with sweeps trust me! hope i helped!

    If ur stable with sweep choosing, All that continues to be has some impressive guitar artwork, there is cliffs of dover(stable luck with this, the guy that performs, spacing his call, stated he cant even play it, he stated it replaced right into a one time element lol) As I Lay death looks to have some enormously stable guitars havent quite tried to income something from them yet tho, Lamb of god has an extremely good guitarist, and thats all i can think of of impressive now, wish this helped
