is it possible to have the iphone 3gs without the internet?
i got the 3gs almost a month ago. im 16 so my parents are paying the bill. they said we need to start tightening our budget and they dnt want to pay the extra $15 a month for the internet services. My dad is taking me to an at&t store tonight and says i can try to exchange it or trade it in for another phone, or at least get my money back. (I had to pay for the actual phone.) but i really like this phone and want to keep it. is it possible to keep it without the internet?

Yes but then you'll need to cancel your contract (if you're on one) and that will cost another $250-300 depending on your service provider.
Pretty much you won't have a sim card in your phone and it will become an ipod touch. In order to do that you'll need to cancel your current contract and then either give it back to them, or pay the difference of the phone so then it is completely yours. Because you get the phone for like $100 with a contract because they expect you to be paying your monthly bill for a fixed amount of time. So If you cancel that you are basically saying you won't be paying your bill anymore so they charge you an extra amount for going against the contract.

However you can not buy a iphone without the internet app...
You just don't get a contract with it on and don't use it. xx
