New Melo-less Nuggets a Playoff threat?

The Denver bench really got to the Laker's in LA this past weekend.

They could at least get to the West Finals with the rotations they are using right now and the right draws in the playoffs.

With the additions of Gallinari, Wilson Chandler, Mozgov I think they've added some real under the radar scoring threats. Carmelo Anthony was too much of an 1 dimentional player, only being a scorer and also taking too many shots. The new additions serve as more of a reserved types of players who can knock down shots when they're name is called. I believe that the newly added players bring a revival to the Nuggets where Melo was a type of cancer to the team. From the beginning of the season he wanted to be traded and the whole team felt that his presence of his heart not being there with them. Also ty gibson has stepped up in the absence of chauncey billups. I think they nuggets will make it past one round of the playoffs with the sudden burst of energy seen recently.

Originally I had thought getting rid of Carmello was a stupid idea but now it looks like maybe it could end up helping them. I think Nuggets will make the playoffs and maybe make it past the first round but after that I don't see it.

I think, no one has figure them out yet.

I don't think Denver can beat OKC in the first round. If they won the first round, I think they would have a chance against the Spurs in the 2nd, but I just don't see them getting past OKC.

If the Nuggets draw the Thunder, then they likely wont make it past the 1st round.

I say they'll win at least the first round while NY loses in the first round. That will be funny.

A threat? Yes

A contender? No

I don't see them beating OKC, but if in some way they do I don't at all see them beating San Antonio
