Why does my "Top Contributor" ribbon keep disappearing?

As you know we work hard for that. Do we have to maintain a certain quota to keep it?

A T̲o̲p C̲o̲n̲t̲r̲i̲b̲u̲t̲o̲r̲ is an expert in from one to three categories. It is available in every category and sub category except "polls & surveys" and "jokes & riddles".

The exact qualifications are kept secret and no one can say for sure. It is a high current percentage (~10%) and quantity (~40-50 a month) of best answers in a category.

Badges are issued every Monday morning. Once you get the badge you must keep up your activity in the category or you will lose it.

In order to keep your Top Contributor badge, you need to keep up the pace. You need to continue to actively participate on a regular basis. If you take a break, you will lose the badge.

The top contributor badge is dynamic —you earn it or lose it depending on your recent participation in a particular category.

    Good luck,

To keep your TC badge you must keep up with the section you got in by continuing to answer questions in it and receive best answer in it .

Funny. I don't want mine and I just learned how to get rid of it. I need to diverse, go to different topics. To keep yours you need to stay in one topic mostly.

*** Barkley how did you make your name upside down? I could do it in Paint Shop Pro but it would be a jpeg, not text.
