Women are always neglected in Islam...?
Why can't the religious leaders rewrite the law of allowing women to enter mosques and pray. Don't the women deserve prayer and forgiveness just like Men do??? Or are they afraid of Women Power and want to continue enjoying the biased laws that has been sucessfully followed from ages..
The Quran in Surah (Chapter) 2:223 says:
Your women are your fields, so go into your fields whichever way you like..(Mohd did use his women like fields no doubt about that..)

Women are definitely mistreated in the Koran. Islam is the most sexist religion, hands down.

Women CAN pray in mosques, just that SOME mosques don't allow it.
The mosque I went to by my sisters place allows women and men. However, the men stay downstairs and the women go upstairs on a balcony and the praying area for both women and men is clean and comfortable. Many women pray at that mosque.
why are you mentioning this?:
Your women are your fields, so go into your fields whichever way you like..
That is talkign about sex and is not related to prayer in any shape or form, so it doesn't fit at all. For that matter, that line does not include anal intercourse and does not mean a man can rape or mistreat a woman.

@ katy: hahaha *obviously* you've never met any of the women in my family..."walked all over by their husbands" oh hahahahahaa! Send a man over to me, see how I let him treat me like "meat"...Oh wait i need to get out my frying pan...
Okay now to answer your question, what do you mean not allowed into the mosque to pray? And who is Mohd? If a woman is forbidden to pray, that is either because she cannot (for obvious reasons) or because it is a mosque that vales cultural ignorance over islam...
The verse actually continues on to say"but do some good for your souls beforehand, and *fear Allah*...". So a husband can approach his wife freely, but with fear of allah in his heart, meaning (to me) that he cannot treat her in a degrading or abusive way...Think about the parable of a field...do you stave and degrade a field, or do you treat it with loving care so that it may bare the best fruit?
Not to say that women are just good for baring fruit, but point is, consider the full verse before leaping to conclusions.
Hope I helped... :)

Women can do go to the mosque, have you ever been to the mosque to claim that they aren't allowed to go to the mosque?
Muslims men respect more then you can even imagine, just visit the mosque once and you'll see how respectful they are towards women. They always give lectures about what a women can do and how powerful women are. A true muslim man is better then ANY other man on this planet.
So why are the hell are you saying crap?
Get you retarded brain fixed, and stop making up sh**.
When we muslims women love our religion then WHO are YOU to say we are treated badly?

A woman's prayer in her house, even if it is offered alone, is better and brings a greater reward than her prayer in the mosque, even if it is offered in congregation. This is indicated by many hadeeths from the Prophet PBUH

I'm not muslim but I'm around them alot and I can see they clearly envy free women who can do as they please....they will never admit it becuase they think they are betraying their faith to speak up.....but they get walked all over by their husbands in this life (though i'm sure there are many who are happily married and best friends with their husbands like I am) so I'm not sure how heaven will be "paradise" to them as I'm assuming they will be treated the same there. I've been told this lots of times by muslim men and women when having small group conversations. A guy just told me the other day that now that he is 20, his mom is pressuring him to get married and she wants him to have an arranged marriage but he wants to fall in love because the "girls back home" are like "meat" (not my word) who are around to please their husbands and clean and have babies and after alllllll of that, if their husbands says, they can go to school or work etc. My husband has always told me this same thing about Muslims and he is one....one that lives in the 21st century though. I know this all sounds mean, I really don't mean it to, it's just a telling of what I have seen and been told by muslims.

Muslim women are not the concern of non-Muslims who are ignorant of Islam and themselves are sinners.

Why can't Islam just simply rewrite the Qur'an so that it's not insane and stupid?
