Am I doing something wrong in the basketball section?

Idk......I'm super underrated and answer daily here......never get any recognition and I research almost all of my answers unless I joke around, a few times. But like other than that, I'm not even considered for a nomination in the awards for the basketball awards? I even got 8 thumbs down for calling myself underrated :(. I might call it quits for Y!A.

Update:

Yeah that's what I'm saying.......no one knows me and I answer daily with good thought out answers.....

Update 2:

It feels like I'm wasting my time though.....

Don't feel bad if people are giving you thumbs down. I once answered a question someone posted about Kobe Bryant and his championships. The guy was a Laker fan who asked it. I gave an answer that showed Bill Russell actually did this way before Kobe, and had a source to back it up. Needless to say, the question asker picked someone's answer who said that Kobe Bryant ruled or something like that as the best answer. A lot of people don't reward for good answers, but there's a good handful of people on here who do and they applaud it. Keep posting your good answers and information. There's definitely some people who appreciate it.

EDIT: Oh, yea, the question was along the lines of, "If Kobe and the Lakers win this year and next year, what would you think about Kobe becoming the first NBA player to win 4 championships in a row." Bill Russell won 8 in a row way back in the late 50's to mid 1960's.

Why are you doing this? If you quite suppose it's going to make the staff larger, then that is well. If you are simply doing it to exhibit every person how unselfish you're, then you are hurting your staff and being quite egocentric. Seriously, you must take this style of factor up along with your instruct first.

    Im not sure.

I think im one of the most "popular" users on here but I don't know why or how.

Other users like me are Swish, TOR, CBTH, KG Chest Pound, Solo Dolo, Prime Destiano, Horus, See Red, Pippen Best Defender, and tons of others. Me and those users are most known and I don't know why. Oh, and the Brett Favre user and Celtic Pride and Ray Allen.

EDIT: HOLY ****, I forgot airWarrior, that new Nash user, and Rudy are cool too.

The Awards is just for fun, dont feel bad if you dont win anything. You shouldn't answer for recognition, but just by having fun talking basketball :)

Being a popular user isn't that big of a deal. All it means is that you're well known, it doesn't mean you're the best or worst user or the most knowledgable. If you like talking basketball, then you're not wasting your time.

It's just all in fun, I really wouldn't take it too serious.

  • Unless you're like getting a plaque or trophy for the award, don't stress dude. Go out and hoop or something.

The most well known answerers aren't the smart ones. They are the ones that say the stupidest things, which people remember the most. Plus, you don't have that many answers.

the problem is you actually take time to research your answers. do like most do and just answer kobe>lebron or vice versa and see how many thumbs up and best answers you get.

i quit yahoo answers all that time but end up coming back when i'm bored to see the same old bs questions.

I've never heard of you, sorry. I don't think many other people have heard of you either.
