I need to make a fair yugioh deck?

Question

I know that when I play a few of the players at my local shop the are often discouraged by the fact that I use tournament level decks. I have been trying to find ways to make my games more even with them without having to just throw the matches in at least one case I am dealing with someone who is learning disabled but a few of the others I do not know if their problems are poor education or a variation of disability that is not as apparent. So for more info on that I need to be able to be on level with decks using 60 cards and just bad combinations. (I would try to help them make their decks better but they get very defiant that I leave certain cards in whether they are good or not and then they somehow muster enough cards together to create another 60 card deck when I always advise some where between 40 and 45 cards). Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Shoot if you cant beat them, join them! 

Although, in my opinion, its going to get boring... having a mushed up deck of 60 cards...? or even 40... still if you want to play with them just try to make a deck with...:

10 (old) Low level Normal cards with ATK ranging from 500-1800
10 Normal High level cards, like Blue Eyes, Summoned Skull, Curse of Dragon, Dark Magician
5 crappy effect monsters (I dont know you choose.. lol)
5 Traps (Just make sure its nothing overpowered or abusive)
10 Spells (I still dont know, just nothing TOO powerful...)

Hey your just trying to be nice, and that's cool and all, but some people are not made to play yu-gi-oh lol 
(If that's even possible)

I hate using decks that require no strategy, I rather stick with my custom Agents deck lol

Maybe you should just run a Traditional deck? Those are fun to play with.

I understand that your problem is unavoidable, just try to get some of your friends that are on your level to come and play --maybe even changing the people at local's perspective  a bit. Anyway, you should ask the manager of that card shop when real tournaments are held, and also when the 'better players' frequent the tables.


Any 60 card deck with a theme should be okay, you can try making Ice Barrier deck but it would be a lot of card buying, possibly.  Or you can try playing normal monster beatdown.

I know this isn't a good answer but you could try to build them the 40 card limit deck again. THEN show them that they dont NEED to add any more cards. show them that the deck is good enough and does not need any other cards. Show them how to use the deck effectively and so forth.

studie how there decks are built.  once you figure out how they build their decks build you self a deck that works around the same pricipals they use like build a 60 card deck to start with and i guess just use your worst cards.

or you can just let them keep on being stuborn and keep on beating them and hope they catch on the a 40-50 card deck where the card works together.

so either keep on winning or just dumbdown your deck

It's not your fault that your deck has a more balanced and thematic deck compared to their decks that has no goal/key.  Stick to your style and don't let anyone discourage your gaming.  It's your cards, not theirs.  If you seek "fair", then you should seek for fair duelists who will not complain or whine about your cards.  Check other local hobby shops in your area to see if there are more fair duelists.

if you have onli 2 tuner, don't play synchro. a good synchro deck should have atleast 6 tuner out of 20 monster.anyway plaguespreader can be counted as 2
