If Islam is a religion of Love why there is so much...?

I am wondering whether you have read the whole of chapter 9?

It is very difficult to form the real picture without reading the whole chapter.

You know, u cant just pick up a book on engineering, read one line and claim to know all about engineering can you?

I have picked out some other verses from chapter 9 for you, which insha'Allah will make the picture a bit clearer to you. I strongly recommend that you read the entire chapter and indeed the entire Qur'an for yourself. Also, please dont judge Islam based on what Muslims or people who claim to be Muslims do.

And if any one of the polytheists seeks your protection, then grant him protection so that he may hear the words of Allah . Then deliver him to his place of safety. That is because they are a people who do not know. [9: 6]

How can there be for the polytheists a treaty in the sight of Allah and with His Messenger, except for those with whom you made a treaty at al-Masjid al-Haram? So as long as they are upright toward you, be upright toward them. Indeed, Allah loves the righteous [who fear Him]. [9:7]

Surah taubah is a beautiful verse and I've read many times.Tauba means repentance. Revert yourself to believe in Allah and the last day. Terrorist are not muslims because Islam never teaches to kill people. Allah is telling us what to do during a war when muslims are attacked. Why not read the whole chapter before you ask a question. What is the continuous verse?

It's because people like you decide who you label as a Muslim, given the geographical location where Islam is majorly practiced, what comes as a result is what would happen if an element of religion wasn't there, if you feel 3rd worlders are accountable for anything they represent then I feel for you. Ok, I am not religious, but that's only the stereotypical type of Muslim.. They're not all like that! I promise you. I used to be a Christian and I realized how judgmental I was. I pretty much hated everyone except other Christians.

In the Great Crusades, the Christians went into a Jeruslem and killed EVERONE. Every single living thing there. The women, the children. Then, the Muslims struck back much later, and let EVERY Christian live.

The verse you reffered was for a specific turbulant period when muslims were persecuted.To jihad so that the message may not get suppressed as in case of Jesus a.s.In case of peace muslims and non-muslims were living side by side, but the latter frequently broke treaties and plotted against the nascent religion.Initially they migrated to medina and later verses were revealed to strive for the cause of islam.If not, present arabia wont be a foundation for islam.

1.'A (declaration) of immunity from Allah and his messenger, to those of the pagans whom ye have contracted mutual alliances:

2.Go ye then, for four months(backwards and forwards as ye will), thoroughout the land,but know that ye cannot frustate Allah(by your falsehood) but that Allah will cover with shame those who reject Him.

3.And an announcement from Allah and His messenger,to the people (assembled) on the day of Great pilgrimage- that Allah and His messenger dissolve(treaty) obligations with the pagans.If then, ye repent,it were best for you,but if ye turn away,know ye that ye cannot frustrate Allah.And proclaim a griveous chastisement to those who reject faith.

4.(but the treaties are) not dissolved with pagans with whom ye have entered into alliance and who have not subsequently failed you in aught, nor aided anyone against you.So fulfill your engagements with them to the end of their term: for Allah loveth the righteous.

6.If one among the pagans ask thee for asylum,grant it to him,so that he may hear the word of Allah;and then escort him to where he can be secure.That is because they are men without knowledge.

im muslim but im not gonna fight anybody for no reason in the verse it says fight..lets say u took something form i could fight with u to take my belongings back doest that make me a bad person ?and besides fight can have many meanings

Because Christians and Jews cannot be terrorists and terrorists all must be Muslim...

لاَ إِكْرَاهَ فِي الدِّينِ قَد تَّبَيَّنَ الرُّشْدُ مِنَ الْغَيِّ فَمَنْ يَكْفُرْ بِالطَّاغُوتِ وَيُؤْمِن بِاللّهِ فَقَدِ اسْتَمْسَكَ بِالْعُرْوَةِ الْوُثْقَىَ لاَ انفِصَامَ لَهَا وَاللّهُ سَمِيعٌ عَلِيمٌ

Let there be no compulsion in religion: Truth stands out clear from Error: whoever rejects evil and believes in Allah hath grasped the most trustworthy hand-hold, that never breaks. And Allah heareth and knoweth all things. [2:256]

No one can force anyone to convert.... or kill them because they refuse to convert. A forced conversion means nothing in Islam. And Martyrs fight in Allah's name only when another group has declared war on Islam first... otherwise...they can not.

Study Islam... you will see it a religion of peace.

And Muslims ≠ Islam

I don't know, but every religion has its extremists that give the entire religion a bad reputation.

It's hard to say that, when the Coran was written during a war that they started, but Christianity and Judaism is not much better.
