Wearing National Day of Silence shirts to school. Can I get in trouble?
To promote tolerance and anti-bullying of the LGBT community. The shirt says National Day of silence on the front and NO H8 on the back. I checked my schools dress code and nothing appeared to be wrong with wearing it, but I live in a fairly conservative area. I do not care about teasing I just don't want to get in trouble with the school.

You should be fine, and if they push it, state that you're not violating anything in the handbook. I don't think anyone should be offended by the shirt, its not like you're preaching for homosexuality, just asking people not to discriminate against those.

I see your point about why they might take issue with it, but i really don't think they will. If the dress code doesn't say anything about it, there's no reason to worry. :) Plus, it's not like there's anything crude on the shirt. It's just showing support for a national day of silence. :)
