Can one commonwealth armed forces officer (i.e. from the UK) transfer to another commonwealth armed forces (i.e. Canada or New Zealand) so basically what i'm asking is can a British officer transfer to a commonwealth armed force?

There is a program at the moment with Australia where they will accept you at possibly the rank below. This is not actually a transfer per se as you actually discharge yourself from the British Army (if you are a soldier) of resign your commission (if your an officer) I am uncertain if New Zealand does. Canada most certainly does not.
As with all things of this nature, nothing is guaranteed.

I know it used to happen, albeit not often, but, to serve in the Canadian Forces now, you have to be a Canadian Citizen.
While we have the same person as Queen, the two Crowns are legally very distinct, and there is no longer any connection between Canada, and the UK, apart from both having the same Queen. You could ask, as it has happened, but, I would be a bit surprised if they said yes.

The Royal New Zealand Navy will accept serving Royal Navy personnel with their current rank and salary, as the RNZN struggles to recruit and is very similar to the Royal Navy. Other than that, I am not aware of any other opportunities like this between Commonweath Realms.
