yes i heard of it, too! but i dont really think this fight will happen. fedors manager said he asked fedor to get down to light heavyweight and he said fedors answer looks like he wont do it. can you really imagine fedor to lose 10 kilos? he has always been happy with his bodyshape. well, i think it would be better for him to step down because he wont be a champion in the heavyweight class as long as guys like overeem and silva are there. and i do also doubt that hendo steps up to heavyweight. if im right informed he never fought in this division. but youre right, this would be a great chance. if he defeats fedor, his legendary status will even grow up.

so, if it happens: i dont think hendo will beat fedor. can you really imagine a 40 year old dan henderson taking on a 34 year old fedor emelianenko? this guy is still widely considered to be the greatest heavyweight of all time. so i think he would win without a doubt.

I have Fedor by tko. He outweighs Hendo by 25 or so lbs and hes alot faster then Hendo and has an Iron chin. Dan actually said hed have to drink alot of water just to make 206. As I see it Fedor will have the speed, power, size, submission and striking advantages. Hendo has better wrestling but with Fedors size advantage taking him down will be difficult.

Personally I hope Hendo wins though. If Hendo wins this will probably make him the second greatest mma fighter of all time. He will be a middleweight with wins over the 2 greatest heavyweights of all times (nog and Fedor) as well as winning championships in Pride, UFC, Strikeforce and rings.

Fedor wins: via submisson likely, and KO less likely.

Only way Hendo can win is via: an early standing KO, which no one has done to Fedor as of yet.
