Go to bed with an open ear. Just make sure you have your survival kit/stuff ready. Be safe!

If the weather should get severe enough that you need to take shelter, remain calm. Get out of the mobile home and into a sturdier shelter. If possible get to the lowest level of the building/house and/or an interior room or area. This would be an area with no windows nor walls that share with the outside. Mobile homes/Double wides are not safe places to be during a tornado or straight line winds. If you can, get to a sturdier building. If you can not get to a sturdier shelter, then find a low ditch or culvert and lay flat as can be face down. Remember, REMAIN CALM!

I guess I'd go to sleep on the first floor. Tornados are DARN scary, but exciting and fascinating too. Just not at nite.
I'm at the head of the Lakes, and we thought we might get softball size hail. Any hail can be indicative of a tornado.

Hide in your basement until they give the all clear siren. It sounds like a hooty owl.
