Why does yahoo answers delete questions that are not violating the community guidelines?

It seems to me that there should be a reason sent to people exactly why your question violates community guideline rules. I predict that this question will be deleted because of reasons i will never know and learn from.

Most everyone believes that their deleted questions do not violate the Yahoo Answers rules. The most deleted question is "Do you think I am Pretty?" That is a chatting violation of the rules.

A question must ask for specific knowledge and not solicit the personal opinion of other people.

An answer must answer the question asked and provide some specific knowledge that is beneficial to the Yahoo Answers Community.

"Do you think I am Pretty?" not only asks for the personal opinions of people, but there is no right or wrong answer to the question. One person might think that the person is pretty and another person might think the person is not pretty at all---yet both opinions are equally valid. There is no knowledge provided to the Yahoo Answers Community by either the question or any possible answer other than maybe, "Vanity is never a pretty thing."

You are not allowed to directly insult any member of the YA community either no matter what you personally think---just report the post and move on. If you tell the person that they are stupid or that their post is stupid, then your post will be in violation too.

Re-Read the rules and I bet you can figure out why your post was deleted.
