heavy flow... what should i do?

i get really heavy flow during periods... i go through up to six or even seven pads a day, if i change them when its comfortable. i easily fill four of them, almost five on peak days. i'm pretty sure that this isn't normal for an almost 15 year old girl. is it normal? if not, what should i do? and if it involves talking to my mom, how should i go about doing that?

you can get put on birth control to lessen your flow. that or just rough it! birth control will help, but it will also come with side effects most likely. as for talking to your mom, just tell her what you typed above

: you have really heavy periods. she will likely suggest going on bc without you even bringing it up. if she doesnt you can bring it up. dont worry she went through the same things too
