Are co-pays to the doctor and co pays for prescriptions and eye exams and glasses all deductible for taxes?

    If you file the long form (itemize) medical costs are deductible to the extent that they exceed 7.5% of your AGI. For example, if your AGI was $50,000, and your medical expenses were $4,000, you could deduct $250 as 7.5% of your AGI would be $3,750 and $4,000 - $3,750 = $250.
