Seattle is home to the second largest number of LGBT residents by percentage of population in the entire country, estimated at approximately 57,900 people.

It's pretty big. Seattle has one of the most gays per ca pita along with San Francisco, Minneapolis, Boston, and Atlanta.

12.9 percent of Seattle residents — roughly 57,900 people — identified themselves as gay, lesbian or bisexual. That's second only to San Francisco on a per capita basis. Note that these figures are from 2006 so could be slightly different now.
